The Commission determined that the Event should take place on October 23, 1993. This would tie into United Nations Day on October 24th. Waite stated that she would write to the Falcon Heights, Shoreview, and Arden Hills HR Commissions, and the Roseville Chamber of Commerce to see if they would be interested in sronsoring the Event. C. Roseville Rosefest Parade Bancroft stated that he is interested in putting together a float for the Rosefest Parade. He stated that he would talk to the North Star Chorus to see if they would be interested in performing in the parade on behalf of the Commission. Borden stated that some songs may be considered offensive and that the words of each song would have to be reviewed before they were used in the parade. McKenzie moved, Borden seconded, that the North Star Chorus be invited to perform in the Rosefest Parade on behalf of the Commission.
