<br />B. Hate Crimes Network and Update Bias/Hate Response List - The Commission <br />reviewed the packet used in the past and Commissioner Bergquist agreed to revise <br />the cover letter of the packet. Commissioner McKenzie requested that the staff <br />liaison include a flowchart distributed in the past and bring that to the April 10 <br />meeting. Commissioner McKenzie noted that a commissioner in 1991 met with <br />members invited to participate in the network. And the Commission agreed that <br />that would need to happen during this process. The Commission will review the <br />information again on April 10. <br />C. Video Tape - The Commission agreed to discuss further on April 10. <br /> <br />7) AFS Report <br />Commission Bergquist attended the AFS meeting and the local chapter expressed <br />interest in working with the Commission. Commissioner Bergquist invited members <br />to attend the next meeting on March 20,2001 <br /> <br />8) Old Business <br /> <br />9) New Business/Announcements <br />A. Chair Orosz shared that Commission Oliphant submitted her resignation. <br />B. Commission McKenzie requested that the staff liaison provide information <br />regarding the Human Rights Award to the next meeting and secure a video copy <br />of the December 5, 2000 Human Rights Day Speech for members to view <br />C. Commissioner Mc Kenzie also requested that staff place Celebrations on the <br />agenda for the April 10 meeting and referenced: Community Circles, Richfield <br />Festival and City of Crystal Welcome Immigrant Festival. <br />D. Commissioner Stanoch indicated she would not be available for the April <br /> <br />10) Adjournment <br />McKenzie moved and Bergquist seconded that the meeting be adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />11) Next Meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at 7:00 pm in Roseville <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />010313 <br />
