Thelma McKenzie stated it was to educate youth about Human Rights <br />and heighten awareness. <br /> <br />Howard suggested the teachers be rewarded or acknowledged for those that have a high <br />participation. <br /> <br />III. Martin Luther Kin!! Dav <br />Thelma directed the Commission to turn to the MPR proposed advertisement. Thelma <br />asked that the end of the ad change to "the spirit of Martin Luther King". <br /> <br />A Rose of Manv Colors Cultural Arts Series <br />Howard reported on his involvement in the Committee. We'll run a series of events <br />from March to September. Mark said he doesn't like colors in yellow in the title. Steve <br />asked to mail arts program information to Bias Crimes Network. Todd asked ifthe <br />Commission would like to sponsor a theatre troop? Rita asked if we could sponsor dance <br />or food? Non-threatening is important. Larry suggested we support it.
