<br />~ SB\+IbbE <br /> <br />Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Minutes, September 9, 2003 <br /> <br />Present: Thelma McKenzie, Chair, Mark Chapin, Jackie LeMay, Steve Smith, Karen Vnuk, <br />Howard Wagner, Steve Zorn <br /> <br />Chair Thelma McKenzie called the meeting to order at 8:01 p.m. Raiders Room at the Roseville <br />Skating Center <br /> <br />Approve Minutes <br /> <br />Minutes of the previous meeting moved by Mark Chapin and seconded by Howard Wagner and <br />approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Thelma McKenzie announced that Martha Hardesty resigned from the Commission and that <br />there was a vacancy. <br /> <br />Resource Directory <br /> <br />Howard Wagner passed out a copy of the welcome packet that was sent to 35 new teachers in the <br />Roseville Area Schools. <br /> <br />Superintendent Meeting <br /> <br />The meeting with the Roseville School Superintendent is scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, <br />2003. Phillip Crump, Mark Chapin and Thelma MeKenzie will meet with the Superintendent. <br /> <br />Speakers Bureau <br /> <br />Possible resourees suggested by the Commission to be included: HRC, Roseville Visitors <br />Association, Rotary and Historical Society. <br /> <br />Grants <br /> <br />Martha Hardesty resigned from the Commission but left comment that this is a difficult time to <br />get grants approved. <br />
