Commissioner Bergquist distributed copy ofMN Session Law Ch. 388 regarding changes <br />in evidentiary privilege for individuals presiding at alternate dispute resolution. Trainor <br />expressed concern over DHR apparent failure to submit pending or current grievances to <br />local HRCs. McKenzie reported that other cities were thinking of going to the <br />Legislature to ask for intervention, pursuant to the jurisdiction over grievances granted <br />local HRCs in MN Statute 363.115. Commission discussed letter to DHR signed by all <br />north metro HRCs. McKenzie mentioned that Anderson was attending DHR task force <br />meeting to address this issue and table issue until Anderson able to report back to HRC. <br /> <br />November 1996 <br />.
