® Offer the staff member the opportunity to write down any comments they have in the employee comment section (they <br />can use an additional sheet of paper if necessary). Also ask them to sign and date the form. <br />Provide the staff member with a copy of the completed profile. Infoizn the staff member that the profile will be retained <br />in his/11er personnel file. <br />4. Follow-up <br />Objective: To turn the content of the performance discussion into concrete actions. <br />~ Take the necessary steps to assist the employee in meeting their development and work goals. This may include <br />creating an individual development plan for the upcoming year. <br />Address the employee's workplace concel-ns by taking action yourself or refel-ri11g the issue to the appropriate party. <br />Keep the employee informed of the progress you are making. If you a1-e not able to resolve the issue, explain to the <br />employee the cll-cumstances that prevent resolution. <br />
