Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, August 13, 2007 <br />Page 11 <br />City Engineer Debra Bloom reviewed the purpose of a Limited Use <br />Agreement, as dictated by Minnesota State Statute, for a portion of the <br />area located immediately underneath the I-35W bridge; with antici- <br />pated installation of sidewalks and trees in the right-of--way. Ms. <br />Bloom advised that the state required this agreement to be in place <br />prior to constructing the improvements. <br />Councilmember Kough expressed concern with upkeep and aesthetics <br />of area medians, and costs to the City for personnel and resources <br />when the City was required to perform this work within the City of <br />Roseville. <br />Ms. Bloom clarified that the City of Roseville is agreeing to maintain <br />this area, otherwise it wouldn't be built. <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10536 enti- <br />tled, ""Resolution Approving a Limited Use Permit with the State of <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation for the County Road C <br />Streetscape Improvements in the Right-of--Way of Interstate 35W at <br />County Road C." <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Pust; Kough; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />m.
