Public Ilearing and Approval/Denial of the Request for On-Sale and Sunday 6ntogicating Liquor Licenses for Grumpy's Bar and Grill, 2801 Sne-lang Avenue Finance Director Chris Miller briefly srunmarized the requested application for an On-Sale and Sunday intoxicating Liquor License at 2801 Snelling Avenue for Grumpy's Bar and Grill, formerly Majors Sports Bar. Mayor Klausing opened and closed the Public Hearing at 7:43 p.m., with no one appearing for or against. Ihlan moved, Roe seconded, approval of the On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating Liquor License, for Grumpy's Bar and Grill, located at 2801 Snelling Avenue, for the period of January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008, subject to final review of the application prior to issuance of the license by the City Attorney. Roll Call Ayes: Pust; Roe; Kough; Ihlan; and Klausing. Nays: None. 11. Other Business Items (Action Items) a. Consider Adoption of a Resolution Approving the Consideration of the Use of Eminent Domain for the Request by Opus Northwest, LLC/Dorso Build- ing Company LLP Finance Director Cluis Miller introduced representatives of Dorso Building Com- pany LLP, and the City's development legal counsel Krass Monroe; and refer- enced aDecember 12, 2007 letter from Jolm Martin on behalf of Dorso for Coun- cil consideration. Mr. Miller noted that the City was not being asked to take any eminent domain action; but was being asked to express support for such action if certain conditions warranted such action. A revised draft of the resolution was distributed, not specifying a developer.
