Roe moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of Ordinance Summary No. 1362 entitled, "An Ordinance Summary for Amendments to Title 2 (Commissions) and Title 10 (Zoning) of the Roseville City Code;" for official publication. City Planner Thomas Paschke noted that Interim Community Development Direc- tor Mike Darrow had brought forward suggestions, based on public comment, for both mandatory open house provisions, and expanded notification area for land use cases, both of which staff had pursued on behalf of the public and their re- quests. b. Consideration of an Ordinance Amending Title I1, of the Roseville City Code pertaining to Approval and Signing timelines of Subdivision Plats (PROJ- 0012) City Planner Thomas Paschke briefly reviewed the project report dated March 24, 2008 related to ordinance amendment to City Code, Title 11 pertaining to ap- proval and signing timelines for subdivision plats, in an effort to streamline the process for staff and applicants, and allowing suf&cient Time for recording of documents with Ramsey County without repeat requests before the City Council as timelines expired. Discussion included consistency with state law for City Council action on final plat applications; incorporating language as recommended and reviewed by City Attorney Jay Squires; and anticipated need for City Council approval for final plats if the one year timeline was not met. Pust moved, Ihlan seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1363 entitled, "An Or- dinance Amending Selected Text of Title 11, Chapter 1102, Plat Procedures, Roseville City Code;" specifically Section 1102.01 F, G and H pertaining to Sub- divisions.
