Consider Items Removed from Consent <br />a. Adopt a Resolution Amending the 2008 Fee Schedule <br />(Former Consent Item 7.e) <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Bill Malinen briefly reviewed <br />the request, specifically noting the minor changes related to the City's use of ad- <br />ministrative tickets, and those categories affected. <br />Councilmember Ihlan questioned the current and proposed headings and sought <br />clarification of the actual proposed revisions. <br />Councilmember Ihlan, on an unrelated note, reminded staff and City Council- <br />members of previous discussions last fall on the leaf pick up program, and pro- <br />posals that the program's funding be changed, and questioned the status on those <br />discussions. <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz advised that staff was prepared to provide <br />their analysis as part of the budget process, or whenever requested by the City <br />Council. <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined her preference to hold discussions soon. <br />Councilmember Roe noted that another change in the fee schedule was the addi- <br />tion of the rental registration fee, which was representative of suggestions of the <br />Rental Housing Study Group, to cover administrative costs, not inspections, and <br />opined that it was not excessive. <br />
