Roll Call Ayes: Pust; Roe; Ihlan and Klausing. Nays: None. 8. Consider Items Removed from Consent a. Adopt a Resolution Amending the 2008 Fee Schedule (Former Consent Item 7.e) At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Bill Malinen briefly reviewed the request, specifically noting the minor changes related to the City's use of ad- ministrative tickets, and those categories affected. Councilmember Ihlan questioned the current and proposed headings and sought clarification of the actual proposed revisions. Councilmember Ihlan, on an unrelated note, reminded staff and City Council- members of previous discussions last fall on the leaf pick up program, and pro- posals that the program's funding be changed, and questioned the status on those discussions. Public Works Director Duane Schwartz advised that staff was prepared to provide their analysis as part of the budget process, or whenever requested by the City Council. Councilmember Ihlan opined her preference to hold discussions soon. Councilmember Roe noted that another change in the fee schedule was the addi- tion of the rental registration fee, which was representative of suggestions of the Rental Housing Study Group, to cover administrative costs, not inspections, and opined that it was not excessive.
