Huiras presented a petition from • <br />neighbors along Snelling Curve supporting the City's pursuit of the <br />abatement process. <br />John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn concurred with the comments and suggestions of <br />Councilmember Pust on the city's place in reimbursement order for <br />those funds expended. <br />Pust moved, Klausing seconded, directing staff to abate public nui- <br />sance violations at 2536 Snelling Street by hiring contractors to re- <br />move all garbage, remove the deteriorated rabbit hutch, and to repair <br />and repaint those areas on the house and garage where peeling and <br />fading paint exist, as detailed in the Request for Council Action dated <br />June 16, 2008; and further directing that the property owner be billed <br />for all actual and administrative costs; and if those charges remain un- <br />paid, staff is to recover costs as specified in Minnesota Statute, Sec- <br />tion 407.07B; with costs to be reported to the City Council following <br />the abatement; amended with the caveat that the abatement would • <br />proceed only after first checking with the City Attorney for the best <br />way to preserve city assets. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus; Pust; Roe and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Recess <br />Mayor Klausing recessed the meeting at 8:18 p.m. and reconvened at 8:24 p.m. <br />b. Consider Membership in the Twin Cities Community Capital <br />Fund (PROJ0004) <br />Economic Development Associate Jamie Radel presented a proposal <br />for the city's involvement in the Twin Cities Community Capital Fund <br />(TCCCF); and provided more detailed information on past business <br />programs of the City of Roseville; an overview of the TCCCF; bene- <br />fits of membership; membership levels; upfront costs; and potential <br />funding sources for membership. Ms. Radel provided the presentation <br />as a bench handout. • <br />
