Recognitions, Donations, Communications a. Accept 2008 Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association (MRPA) "Award of Excellence" in Management Strategies for Roseville Cedarholm Golf Course" Sean McDonagh, Superintendent of Cedarholm Golf Course, was present and in- troduced Ms. Diane Evans, of the MRPA, to present the award to the City Council and community, and Parks and Recreation and Golf Course staff. Ms. Evans briefly reviewed the history of the MRPA, membership demographics, how the MRPA Awards Committee ranked projects and programs; and their mis- sion in recognizing and increasing awareness of those programs occurring across the State of MN. Ms. Evans presented and Mayor Klausing accepted the award on behalf of the City Council, community and staff; and thanked staff for the incredible job they'd done. b. Proclaim September 15 -October 15, 2008 as Hispanic Heritage Month Mayor read the proclamation recognizing September 15 -October 15, 2008 as Hispanic Heritage Month to "Get Involved: Our Families, Our Community, Our Nation" in the City of Roseville. Pust moved, Ihlan seconded, proclamation of September 15 -October 15, 2008 as Hispanic Heritage Month to "Get Involved: Our Families, Our Community, Our Nation" in the City of Roseville. Approve Minutes of August 25, 2008 Special Meeting Pust moved, Willmus seconded, approval of the minutes of the August 25, 2008 Regular Meeting of the City Council as amended. Corrections: Councilmembers Willmus and Ihlan submitted written corrections to the minutes, page 6, (lines 26 & 27) and page 12, (line 44) respectively.
