This provision shall not apply to Tenant's safes, or ather areas maintained by <br />Tenant for the safety and security of monies, sec�rities, negotiable instruments or iifce items. <br />(d} Control af Shopping Center. �o mal<e repairs, alterations, additions, ar impro�ements, <br />whether structura! or otherwise, in and abaut �he Shopping Cent�r, or any �art thereof, ar�d <br />far such purposes to enter upan the Premises, and during the continuatio� of any of said <br />work, to temporarily cfose doars, entryways, p�blic spaces, and corridors in the Shopping <br />Center and t� interrupt or temporarily suspend services ar�d facilities. . <br />(e} Restrict Vending Machines. To restrict or lit�nit vending or dispensing machines ofi a�y <br />kind in or af�ou� the Premises. <br />(f) Approve Fixtures. To approve the weight, size and location of safes and other �ea�y <br />equipment and articles irr and abo�at ti�e Premises and thte Shopping Center and to require all <br />such items to be moved into and out af the Sho�ping Center ar�d the Premises only at such <br />times and in such manner as Landlord shal[ direct in wri�ir�g. <br />Articfe $: A�TERATIONS AND fMPROVEMENTS <br />(a) Tenant shal� not ma€<e any improvements, alterations, additions or installatians in or to <br />the �remises incl�ding but not limited to the initial Tenant"s Worl< (hereinafter collectively <br />referred to as the "Wor{<") without Landlard's prior written consent. Along with any reguest <br />for Landlord's consent and before commencerr;ent of the Worlc or de�i�ery of any materials <br />to be €ased in the Worl< to the Premises or into the Shopping Center, Tenant shall furnish <br />Landlord with plans and s�ecifications, nam�s and addresses of � cantractors, co�ies of <br />cantracts, necessary permits and licenses. <br />(b) A!f Worfc shall be done onfy by contractors ar mechanics reasonably approved E�y <br />Lancilord. <br />(c) Ter�ant shall pay tha co�t o€ all such improvements, alteratians, additions or <br />installations (ir�cluding a r�asonable charge for Landlord's serviees and for Landford's <br />inspection and eng3neering t€me}, and aiso the cost of painting, restaring or repairing the <br />Premis�s and the Buifding and S�opping Center occasioned by such improvements, <br />alterations, additions or installations. Upan com�letion of the Work, Tenant shall furnish <br />La€�dlard with contractor's affidavits and full and finaf waivers of liens, and receipted bifls <br />covering a!I labar and materials expended a�d used. <br />(d} The Wark shal! cornply with afl ins�ranc� requirements and alf laws, ordinances, rules <br />and regulations of a!f govemmental authorities and shall be consCructed in a good and <br />workmanlik� manner, Tenant shall permit Landlord to inspect cor�struction operations in <br />connection with the Worl<. <br />Article 9: REPAIRS <br />9 <br />
