WHEREAS, the City has solicited proposals for a clean-up day in the City; and WHEREAS, the Contractor has submitted a proposal for operation of a clean-up day; and NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth below, the parties agree as follows: 1. Proposal. The term "Proposal" refers to Contractor's October 30, 2008 Proposal for Clean-Up Day Operation. A copy of the Proposal is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 2. RFP. The terms "RFP" or "City RFP" refer to the September 30, 2008 City of Roseville Request for Proposal for Operation of a Clean-Up Day. A copy of the RFP is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. II. Collection and Disposal Requirements 1. Collection Hours: Contractor shall maintain sufficient equipment and personnel to assure that all collection operations on Clean-Up Day begin no later than 8:00 a.m., and are completed by 3:00 p.m. on the scheduled Clean-Up Day. 2. Compliance with Disposal, Driving and Hauling Laws: collection, transportation, and disposal of all collected items shall be accomplished in accordance with all existing laws and ordinances. 3. Collection Vehicle Equipment Requirements: All collection vehicles used in performance of the Contract shall be duly licensed and inspected by the State of Minnesota and meet all applicable federal, state, and local rules, regulations and standards. All vehicles must be clearly identified on both sides with Contractor's name and telephone number. 1
