The following tasks describe the scope oFwork WSB anticipates for the successfuE <br />delivery of the Twin Lakes AUAR SubArea 1 Irr�provement - Phase 1 project. Each <br />task descriptian includes the estimated num6er of hours required for the work <br />and utilizes the attached WSB's 2009 Fee 5chedule to determine hourly rates. We <br />have assumed a 24 week construction schedule for the basis of this estimate. <br />I��t�€a�I� �1 �J��•i� �°��.s#t,� <br />Task 1- Project/Contract Our Project Manager and Project Engineer for construction wil! be Jupe Hale and <br />Management Andrew Plowman, respectively. Jupe and Andrew will canduct the <br />precqnstructian rr�eeting. Andrew wiil conduct all the weekiy fie[d. meetings. Jupe <br />will be involved in the meetings but not, necessarily, attend every rneeting. <br />Andrew's role will bE to supervise the observer and sur�eyors and troubleshaot <br />. any questions regarding design and constructability. Jupe and Andrew will <br />monitor the contractor's progress relative to the project schedule and, if <br />appropriate, issue a notice should the contractor fall behind. Andrew will be <br />available far questions from the owners, public, staff, contractors, and utility <br />companies, Jupe wi11 review and sign the monthly pay vouchers and perform all <br />other general contract adrninistration required. Jupe will dedicate four hours per <br />week to the project, and Andrew will dedicate eight hours per week, ensuring <br />ba�h prpactive contract management and ability to camplete and administer all <br />documentation fqr the project. <br />]n addition, Hoisington Koegler Group (HKgi) will be providing support for <br />questia��s regarding the landscaping, irrigation, and fighting. [n addition, they will <br />be providing shop drawing review of the variaus ]andscape and lighting items. <br />They will attend weekly meetings when the project progresses ta constructing <br />itetns that HKgi designed. It is assumed that HKgi wil] be needed far half the <br />construction schedule [12 weeks). <br />Estimated hours and fees for this task: <br />� Jupe Ha1e (WSB% - 24 weeks x 4 hrs/wk x$126/hour =$12,09� <br />° Andrew Plawman (WSB) - 24 weeks x S hrs/wk x$96/hour =$18,43Z <br />■ Ana Nelson �HKgi) - 12 weeks x 4 hrs/wk x$90/hour =$4,320 <br />'. Total = $34,84B <br />Task 2- Construction W5B will provide full-time constructior� observation on the project. The project <br />Observation ! inspector will provide fiF►e City with daily and weekly reports and track quantities <br />for payment purposES. The observers will make sure the project is built to the <br />' project and City specifECations. Any deviations or potentiai change orders w�ll be <br />braught to the attentian of the City. <br />To have a.n understanding of the progress of the adjacent project and to ensure <br />conf�icts do not occur, the inspector will coardinate construction activities with <br />` the Metro Transit Park and Ride/lana Drive Construction and attend their weekky <br />canstruction. meetings. <br />The inspector will schedule al] the necessaxy materials testing with Braun Intertec <br />for Geatechnical, Concrete, gituminous, and Environmentai Testing. A final walk- <br />through inspection for punch-list items and final closeout procedures will be <br />eompleted.
