In #his task, HKGi and City siaf� will trans]ate <br />the resulis of the p(anning proeess into a draft of the updated chapters of the <br />Cotr►prehensive PIan. <br />• Sub�nit dra£t chapiers for staff re�iew and comm�n�. <br />e Conduct Steering Conrarni�tee workshops for review and cornrraent on <br />draft chapters. <br />• Maka revisions to draft. <br />g Submit �nai draf� chapters for Steering Co�n�nittee appraval. <br />The pIan wi�1 generaily incIude the following chapt�rs: <br />Land Use Plan <br />HKGi will Eead the effort to prepare the land use chapter of the plan based on tt�e <br />selected futures a(terr�ative (outco�ne of Task 5}. The land use plan wiil address <br />the desired locations and mixes of residential, connaaaercial, indust�•ial, offce, <br />institutional, mixed-use, public and semi�public �tses and provide an ai�alysis of <br />sub-axeas as de�z�ed d�ring tk�e planning process. In text and graphic fo�•ms, the <br />la��d use chapt�r wilt illustrate the future land use pattern, illust�•ate desired <br />de�ve�op��nent foz'ins and i1l�strate� speeific develapment/redevelopment areas <br />(sub-areas}. <br />1"r�ansportation 1'lan <br />Th� Transportation Plan will entail a eomplete review and update of ti�e previaus <br />plan (2003j. i'er the Metropolitan Council re�uirements, the transportat9on ptan <br />will encampass existing ar�tl planned modes of transportation, botFt publie anci <br />private. These ��todes incl�de: transit, highways and roads, passageways for <br />non-motorized vehicles, freight mover�zent and avia#ian. <br />Transportation �lan cornponents wall iraclude: <br />.
