It will analyze existing housing data, pr�pare a housing needs assessment, <br />evatuate neighborhood conditions, e�aluate affordability, and evaluate lifecycle <br />and workforce housing needs. It wiII discuss the Ciry's angning role in hnusing <br />and will identi�y local anci regional resouxces to accompiish hnusing objecti�es. <br />Economic and Redevelopment Plan <br />HKGi will assist Roseville staff in a corr�plete rewrite af the Economic anc[ <br />Redeve�aprnent �'laza chapter. Based o� the c�zrrent plan chapter that identi�es <br />existing conditions, loaks a generai city goals, offers redeveloptnent strategies <br />and addresses progra�ns and projections, HKGi will suggest a revised format fnr <br />this component of the pIan. HKGi's suggested eon#et�t for tl�is section af tf�e �alan <br />will Fse compatibte vrith rather than c[uplicat� in�'orma�inn contain�d in the <br />I€nple�nentation porCion of t�►� plan. It will re£�ect the "best practices" approach <br />outlined in t�e R�P. <br />Environmental Protectian Plan <br />The Environment Protectian chapter of the plan currentty inclucies ti�a watar <br />�•�source plan and the resource protection plan. HKGi will assist the City with <br />cninimal updates to these plan components. A�nore detailed analysis of the <br />natural resources �rotection compnnents nf the pIan will occur. <br />Parks 1'lan <br />Tt�e reee�t Par�ts Plan will be zeviewed ar�d modified as r�eeded to ensure <br />consistency with the updated Comprehensive PIan. A�-nore detailed re-write of <br />th�: Parks P�an wall likely accur subsequent co the preparation of the <br />Cnrnprehensive Plan. <br />Cammunity Facilities <br />WS� will provide minimal assistance to City staff as needed to update the <br />Sanitary Sewer Supply Ptan and the Water Supply Plart. <br />Zmplementation Plan <br />HKGi wall take a Iead role in re-writing tl�e I�x�plernentation section of the plan. <br />This section of the plan wili identify key strategic initiati�ves tf�at will help cai�ry <br />out the eommunity's visian and build upnn directions esiabiished in the <br />Cornprehensive Plan. The implementation plan wili 3nctude an analysis of <br />inconsistencies between fihe updated Comprehensive Plan anci th� city's zani��g <br />and subdivision ordinanees. <br />
