MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />Between <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />And <br />INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING <br />ENGINEERS, LOCAL NO. 49, AFL-CIO <br />This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING provides for a change in overtime payments <br />due under the Labor Agreement's ARTICLE X, OVERTIME, Section 10.1, whenever the City <br />of Roseville and I.U.O.E. Local No. 49 agrees to a work schedule for employees providing for <br />four consecutive ten-hour days in a workweek. This shall apply to all employees in the Public <br />Works and Parlcs & Recreation Deparhnents. <br />In the event the City establishes a workweek for four ten-hour days, the requirements of <br />ARTICLE X, Section 10.1 shall be modified. Under such a schedule overtime will be paid only <br />after ten hours of work in one day and forty hours in one week. This modification will talce place <br />under the mutual agreement between the supervisor and employees. For a week with a holiday, <br />t1�e employees will work three ten-hour days, be paid for eight hours of holiday pay, and use two <br />hours of vacation or comp time. Any vacation, sick leave, or comp time will be charged at the <br />rate of ten hours per day of usage. <br />This schedule shall apply to years 2007 through 2009.
