Vendor shall provide at his own expense the following insurance for himself and <br />his employees in connectionwith theirwork under this project: <br />1. <br />2. <br />Worker's Compensation: Statutory <br />Contractors Public Liability and Property Damage: <br />Bodily Injury: $300,000 each person, $1,000,000 each accident <br />Property Damage: $300,000 each accident, $1,000,000 aggregate <br />4. Automobile Public Liability and Property Damage: <br />Bodily Injury: $300,000 each person, $1,000,000 each accident <br />Property Damage: $100,000 each accident <br />B. The Vendor shall maintain such insurance as will protect it from claims under <br />the workmen's Compensation laws, disability benefit laws, or other employee <br />benefit laws; from claims for damages because of injury, sickness, disease, or <br />death of its employees; from claims because of injury, sickness, disease, or <br />death of any person other than its employees; and from claims for damage to <br />property including loss of use thereof, any or all of which may arise out of or <br />result from the Vendor's operations, whether such operations be by itself or by a <br />Subcontractor or anyone directly or indirectlyemployed by any of them, or for <br />whose acts any of them may be legally liable. This insurance shall be written for <br />not less than any limits of liability specified herein, or as required by law, <br />whichever is greater. Before starting the Work, certificates of such insurance, <br />acceptableto the Owner, shall be filed with the Owner and shall contain a <br />provision that the policies will not be canceled or materially changed until at least <br />30 days prior written notice has been given to the Owner. The Certificate of <br />Insurance will not be accepted if the statement of cancellation includes a <br />statement such as "failure to do so shall impose no obligation or liability of any <br />kind upon the insurer, its agents or representatives". The Vendor shall not allow <br />any Subcontractor to start Work until similar insurance has been obtained by the <br />Subcontractor. <br />C. The Vendor shall comply with all applicable safety and building laws and codes <br />of federal, state, municipal and other governmental bodies for the safety of <br />persons or property or to protect them from damage, injury or loss. <br />p. The v�ndorlcontractot shall indemnify and hold harmless the City against and <br />from all liability, claims, damages, demands and cost, including attorneyfees of. <br />every kind and nature and attributableto bodily injury, sickness, disease or death <br />or to damage or destruction of property resulting from or in any manner arising <br />out of or in connection with the project and the performance of the work under <br />this contract. The City of Roseville shall be named additionally insured. <br />EVALUATION, INTERVIEWS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT <br />A. After receipt of the proposals, a selection committee comprised of <br />representatives from City Staff, community members and affiliated groups will <br />use the following factors in selecting the firm for the project. <br />
