Councilmember Ihlan further opined that it was her personal preference that a formal and ongoing Audit and Fi- nance Committee be established for the purpose of reviewing and mal�ing recommendations related to the type of policy discussions be- ing held by the Council tonight. e. Legislative Advocacy — Discussion of Development of 2008 Legis- lative Advocacy Schedule Councilmember Pust opined that the suggested program, as prepared by staff, appeared organized and efficient, and suggested that the leg- islative policy not be considered until June, as recommended in the staff report dated Apri123, 2007 and attached proposed 2008 Legisla- tive Advocacy Program timeline. 3� It was Council consensus that staff provide the Council with a set pro- �S gram, as outlined, on a regular basis as a matter of City Council action �� and activity throughout the year.
