Mr. Paschke <br />advised that numerous comr�ercial properties were alsa being �atilized for park and <br />ride facifities, but were permitted tases �ers€as the Interim Use Permit required in <br />residential areas, in order to condition their operatinn and �erms. <br />Considerable discussion was hel� atnong staff, Corr��ni�sioners and residents related <br />to the bus route related to Caivary; choiee of which entrance at Cal�ary and rationale <br />for that ehoice; maneu�erabili�y of buses arnurtd the carners anci at each er�tranee; <br />current use by residential �raffic of the church ]nt as a shor�eui to bypass �raffic on <br />Lex€ngton; artd �nlicing and mainisnance of the Eot by State Fair personnei or� each <br />site during the Fair. <br />Carnmissioner Gottfried sought clarification and disc€assed raiionale from Mr. Grans <br />regarding the bus route related to saf�ty, cnllector location� for �oading and �nloading <br />ric{ers; passenger contral and pedestrian traf€ic considerations and o�iions; use of #he <br />second entrar�ce; rnaximizing available space; and paymeni by the Fair to th�ir sta� or <br />valunteer groups of a s#ip�nd for €�aintaining and moni�oring each site. <br />
