Hawe�er, <br />Corr►missioner Mar�insan ex�ressed concern with ��ses pieEcir�g up and/or dropping <br />off peaple sa clnse to immediataly adjacen� residenfiial bacicyards; and questioned <br />why riders cnulc[rt'i walk to a mnrc centr�l location further away frQrt� residential <br />properties. <br />Mr. Gross noted �he need ta a(ert those unfamiliar with the area, nf the dead end on <br />Burice, ta auaid fur�her ira�fic congestion and potential safety issues and disrup�ion. <br />Mr. Gross questioned what irnpaets I�ad been observed at other siies related ta noise. <br />Mr. Paschke advised fhat staff had not been rr�ade aware of noise 155UE5; and <br />apparent Eack of issues at oth�r sites actua�ly pro€npted considera�ion of further park <br />and ride lats. <br />Mr. Stark conc�rred �hat when he'd soughi inpui from the Fire and Pvlice <br />tJe�artments, neither had indicated any incidents or areas of concern to them related <br />tn exisfing park and ride sites. <br />Mr. Gross questioned tf�e size of the on-site maintenance stafif provided by tl�e State <br />Fair. <br />Mr. Grans advised that �ach site had 6— 8 people for 8 ho�r shifis. <br />Mr. �'aschke encouraged resider�ts to cnntact s�aff with any difficuliies they realized at <br />any nf t}�e sites to allow s�af� to address them. <br />t]ick Dur�en, 1048 Parker Avenue <br />Mr. Durgen r�spectf�ally rec��ested considera�ian for reEocating the on site collection <br />point �4 reduce impacis to the residential neighborhoad. <br />�iab Buschinski, �[04� Parker Avenue <br />Mr. Buschinski ques�ioned the size nf the buses; a�d questioned why the pick- <br />upldrop-aff poin� couldn't be prouided at the vaeant f€�el station on the corner, rather <br />than immediate6y adjacent to a resic�ential area. <br />Mr. Paschke arl�ised that the �acant site would be di'�ic►�It for a bus to rr�aneuver, ir� <br />addition ta not providing a safe pedestrian waikway along Lexingtor�, and vvas unsure <br />if sta�' could suppor� that focatian. <br />Chair Bakerr�an closed the Public Hearing for Planning File 0-017. <br />
