The purpose of preparing these maps was to identify <br />partners, if any, of the large and small lots. Additionally, he presented maps that show the lots <br />that do not conform to current standards from width, area, and both width and area. <br />DISCUSSION OF RECOMMENDATION <br />The remainder of the meeting was dedicated to the Advisory Group discussing recommendations <br />on outstanding lot-split issues. The following are the recommendations, as discussed, during the <br />meeting. <br />Overall Discussion <br />✓ Continued subdivisions <br />h. <br />➢ Majoritv Recommendation: Single-family residential lot splits should be allowed <br />in Roseville <br />➢ Minoritv Recommendation (2 �roup members�: Single-family residential lot splits <br />should not be allowed in Roseville without consideration of neighborhood <br />context. <br />Community-Wide Code Uniformity <br />✓ Should there be more than one single-family residential zoning district in Roseville? <br />➢ Consensus Recommendation: There should be more than one zoning district in <br />Roseville <br />➢ Consensus Recommendation: 11,000 square feet in area should remain the <br />standard. <br />➢ Consensus Recommendation: Create a lakeshore zoning district using DNR <br />standards. <br />➢ Consensus Recommendation: Create a small lot zoning district to be consistent <br />with existing lots that are less than have an area less than 11,000 square feet. <br />➢ Consensus Recommendation: Create a zoning overlay district to preserve pre- <br />19591ots <br />April 99 Meeting Summary Page 9 of3 <br />
