Mr. Malinen noted that a Public Hearing had
been heard at the Planning Commission level, and the request subse-
quently reviewed by the City Council at their May 14, 2007 Study
Session; and was recommended for approval by the Planning Com-
mission and staff.
 Roe moved, Ihlan seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10509 enti-
 tled, "A Resolution Approving Ten Minnesota State Fair Park-and-
1 Ride Lots for Operation During the Annual Minnesota State Fair (PF
17 07-017);" amending the Interim Use Permit to include two additional
t sites at North Como Presbyterian Church, 965 Larpenteur Avenue,
r; and Calvary Baptist Church, 2120 Lexington Avenue; to the previous
  eight facilities.
1,
1
tt
1
1'
?
1
2
;

 [
37

;4

6
7

:{
Mayor Klausing clarified that there had previously been eight sites;
and two additional sites were being added, amending the original In-
terim Use Permit.
Mayor Klausing called for public input on this item. No one appeared
to speak.
Councilmember Ihlan questioned staff whether residents were now
supportive of the Calvary site.
City Planner Thomas Paschke advised that staff had met with the
State Fair representatives regarding internal and external routing to
create less disruption for adjoining residents. Mr. Paschke noted that
staff had received no additional comments in writing or by phone
from residents.
Mr. Paschke further advised that, while the original Interim Use Per-
mit had been adopted by motion, staff had determined that it would be
more appropriate to incorporate sites and conditions in resolution
form.
Roll Call
Ayes: Roe; Kough; Ihlan; Pust and HIausing.
Nays: None.
