Added : • 8 Sand Volleyball Courts • two bocce ball courts • four outdoor basketball • reconstructed 12 tennis courts ■ Have included in the Lexington Park master plan a spray ground area design. • Enhanced four Bocce Ball Courts o Develop legal agreements with other public agencies within the community for the rights to acquire excess public land or facilities, thus retaining them for community use. • Purchase of Reservoir Woods Park. Agreement with Roseville School District for use of open space. Agreement with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center Acquire and maintain new open space throughout the City as land is redeveloped, with a balanced mix of housing units to provide a more attractive community for new families. ■ Pioneer Park ■ Owasso Hills Park ■ Applewood Park • Applewood Overlook ■ Memorial Park and the surrounding trail system Develop specialized facilities such as batting practice area with pitching machines, bicycle and paddle boat rental services, golf driving range, putting green, and a water park, thus providing exciting, safe, enjoyable leisure experiences, as well as producing revenues sufficient to cover the expense of these facilities and for other less revenue producing facilities and activities. • Constructed seven batting cages- funded by outside groups and organizations. ■ Have worked on feasibility studies for additional golf facilities. • Studied water park feasibility and have created plans for potentials. ■ Adopted Ladyslipper Park Master Plan Upgrade landscaping in parks including greenery, reforestation, flowers, and land form features such as berming, rocks, and landscape walls. This will provide more aesthetically attractive and enhanced leisure areas. Expand the scope and involvement of residents in planting of flowers and reuse of plant cuttings.
