3.3 The ordinance would provide minimal acceptable standards for maintenance of existing <br />buildings, structures, premises and facilities to protect health, safety and general welfare <br />of the City. By adopting the ordinance, staff will have more clarity and regulatory <br />authority to address neighborhood issues relating to property maintenance. <br />4.0 SUGGESTED ACTION <br />4.1 Direct staff to place the adoption of the International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 <br />editions and amendments thereto, on the January 30,2006 agenda for action.
