CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />COMMUNITY DEVEL�PMENT DEPARTMENT <br />C�NSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />THIS IS AN AGREEMENT entered i�7to tl�e � day af , 2006 by and <br />betwee�� tl�e City of Roseville, Min��esota, he�-einafter refet7ed to as the City, aa�d Barsness <br />Cons�ilting Services, Inc. {BC�), organized and existing under the laws of i�e State of Minz�esoia <br />as sole proprietorship, hereinafter referred to as tl�e Consultant. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to hire BCS and ei�ter iilto a Prafessional Services <br />Consulting Agreen�ent for work ii7 connectioll with the City's Community Developrr�ent <br />Department <br />THEREFORE, the paa-ties l�ereto do i��utually agree as follows: <br />L SCOPE OF SERVICES. <br />T11e Cons��itant shall perform necessary and req�xested services to assist in �l�e caininuility <br />developz�aent depa�-t�e�atal activities relating to eca�omic developmei�t as ne�ded iil areas such as, <br />proj �ct inanage�nent for redevelopment proposals which may rec�uire contamination clean up or other <br />types of public funding, and economic develo�cne�7� stra�egies related to business retentian a�ad <br />attraction. All worl� will be billed on a standard l�o�rrly rai� of $100 in q��arter l�our increments at an <br />ai��ount not to exc�ed $2,500 from Co»znau�zity Develo,praze�zt Departinent Professional Serviceso <br />All work shall be subject io the approval and acceptance of the City. Such ap�roval and <br />acceptance shail not, however, relieve the Cansultant iroin the obligation to carrect any <br />incomplete, i��accY�raie ar defective work, all of wl�ich slaall be rezzzedied by the Cansultant <br />without additioi�al cost ta the City. <br />II. TERM. <br />�his agree�nent shall be effective upon tl�e ap}�roval date of the City Catrncil. Ca��sultant <br />shall perform ail seivices in accord witl� the Sco�e af Services by Decelnber 31, 200G �ii�sless the <br />City in writing agrees to any extensioil in the tiine oiper%nna��ce. Tl�� City may earlie� <br />t�r�ninate this Agreeme��t �tpon 30-day written natice thereof, in wlaich case the City shall oiily be <br />ohligated to pay for Consult�lt services provided throug� that terminatioi� date. <br />III. COMPENSATI�N. <br />Fees for �onsultarzt services shaIl be paid witl�in I S days following receipt of a moi�thly <br />i��voice for services performed and as approved by the Contract Administrator(s). The total <br />a���o�.rnt for ali req�ured services shall not exceed $2,5�0. Hours will be billed in quarter hour <br />increanents for time sp�nt by tlle co�ls�rltant an each activity requested by the Contract <br />Ad���irlistratar (s). <br />
