Mayor Klausing concurred with the proposals previously identified by Councilmembers Pust and Maschka; and asked that another prapasal, that of Don Salvearda, be included in the initial eontacts by staff. Mayor Klau�ing suggested that City Manager Beets do ihe preliminary interviews with those four and return to the City Council with his recommendation. Councilmember Maschka question�d how City Manager Beets intended to pursue ihe process. Mr. Beets advised that, gi�en the geographies af Mr. Neu being in Colorado, and to level the f eld, he would anticipate conducting phone interviews with all four candidafie�. Councilmember Maschka suggest�d that Councilmember Pust sii in on those interviews; and City Manager Beets eoncurred with �hat suggestion. Councilmember Pusi concurred with Counei�member Ihlan's comments that eaeh Councilmember was individually elected, but opined that each also brought along their own packag� of apinions and the'rr way to look at �hings. Councilmember Pust noted that, in her recent campaigning; it had been made exceptionally clear to her by citizens of Roseville that they were not impr�ssed with tlle way the Council was working together, and had charged her no� to follow suit. Councilmember Pust again referenced the at�achmen� farm Mr. Neu's proposal, "Ten Highly Effective Council's," by sharing ih� following: "Councils by Eaw, exist and t�a�e authority only when their members con�ene as a`body' to da business. Each member
