One is �he Rose Parade and the o�her is the RunlRoll for the Roses. County Road C will not be available at all to be used for these events. During the past 16 years, the Rose Parade has beer� an important part of the annual Rosefest ceEebration sponsored by t�e City of Roseville Parks and Recreation Departmenfi. The Rose Parade is nrganized by the Parade Cnmmittee under the supervision of the Parks and Recreation Department. T�e Chair of ihe 2006 Rose Parade Committee is Leslie Berry. The parade is scF�eduled for Monday, June 26, 2005 beginning at 6:3Q p.m. The parade wil[ still begin ai the Rosevili� Ar�a High School and proceed east on Cty. Rd B-2, then will go narth on L.exingtan Avenue ta Woo�l�ill Drive {rather than to Cty. Rd. C) then proceeds west �o �he Guicfant John Rose Minnesota OVAL {see enclose� parade route map). The �re-staging area is in �he high school complex area. The 26t�' annual RunlRall for the Roses is also a major Rasefest Event and is scheduled to be hel� on Saturday June 24t". The event typically begins on Co€�n�y Road C west of Hamline and praceeds east on Cty. Raad C to Dale Sireet. Due ta the County C reconstruct the route will begin on Hamiine and Woodhill Drive and proeeed east on WoodHill Dri�e to Vic�oria, then Souti� on V�ctoria to County Road C then east on Caunty Road C where it will pick up on its norma� rouie (see enclosed runlroll ro�te map}. Other acti�ities may be affected but not to ti�e degree of the Parade and Run/Roll for the Roses. The rteighbarhoods along bath event routes will be posted ahead af time indicaiing the traffic delays. Letters will also be sent making residents aware of the upcaming event. The Roseville Po[ice will again insure assistance if residents need to exit or gain access to their residence ciuring the parade.
