Council members will be asked to read this materia] in <br />preparation far the third session. <br />E. Co�ncil Members will be given 4 seli-assessrnent [ools. The fi�st two wi11 be used in the <br />"Work Style" session and are the Myers-Brigg� Profiie and the Leadership Sty�e Inventozy. <br />The second tvvo will be used in the "Team-Building" session and are the Learning Style <br />Inventa�y and Conflict Mode Inventory, Co�nciJ �members wilI be asked to score these <br />instruments at t�aezr convenience and send the resu�ts by emai] to the cansultant in time for <br />t}ae sessions in which they will be used. <br />F. Caus�cil members will be given a set of q�estiQ�s as�cl guideiines foz conducting "facus <br />groups". Each Council rnember will be asked to talk with between 4 and 6 gro�ps and at least <br />10 individua�s to eolIect xnfornraatioi� in preparation for the third session, which is the <br />"Stz-ategic Gaal-Setting" session. <br />Step 2: First Session <br />A. The Consultant will conduct first session on "Work Styles" <br />Drafl agenda includes: <br />• Overvier�v af the instrurz�ents <br />• Sharing by members af their scoring on the instruments and their reactinns to how they <br />scored <br />• Exercises thaE demonstrate how the diversity af styles can be �tnderstood and integrated anto <br />the wozk of the Council <br />• The Council will �e�elop processes{ground zules �r no�m:s that reinfozce how they want to <br />work together and how staff can best provide information to support an efficient and <br />effective work environmer�t �or each mernber <br />• Closing reflections on the "Work Style" session and iis effectzveness <br />• Agreed upon summary that ean be discussed during regular Council meeting to keep citizens <br />rea5onably informed abaut the work and the benefit it is having <br />• Check-in about progress on gathering infonnation fro�n constituents in preparation iar the <br />third session on "Strategic Goal-Setting — reminder to continue collecting infonnation <br />• Rezztinder to complete second two instrume�lts before the next sessit�n <br />
