Replace all steel brine piping in the ice equipment room including all piping, piping spool <br />pieces, fittings and all other materials required for a complete piping system. All materials shall <br />meet the requirements of Section 131814. <br />B. Disassemble existing pipe support and framing system (painted orange). Lower the existing <br />pipe support and framing system and reassemblesystemto accommodate correct insulation <br />procedures including blocking, adjustable pipe supports, and sheet metal saddles. Add <br />additional supports where required for adequate support. Replace all plates, anchor bolts and <br />other fasteners. All bolts, nuts, washers and threaded rods shall be galvanized steel. All <br />supports e�ending to the floorshall rest on a 3°/2" high concrete pad and shall be anchored <br />through the pad to the existing floor. Submit a shop drawing of proposed adjustable pipe <br />support and wall connections. Note that additional framing is required underthe base bid. <br />C. Replace pipe supports for lower 16" suction header pipe. Submit proposed support system to <br />the Engineerfor review. Provide blocking required under pipe for proper pipe insulating of <br />piping system. Replace all plates, anchor bolts and other fasteners. All bolts, nuts, washers <br />and threaded rods shall be galvanized steel. All supports e�ending to the floor shall rest on a <br />3%" high concrete pad and shall be anchored through the pad to the existing floor, <br />D.
