Appeal Letter to the City of Roseville <br />September 15,2006 <br />Page 7 <br />THE CURRENT REQUEST IS CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S <br />MANDATED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />The Roseville Comprehensive Plan states at Section 3, Goals and Policies, <br />Paragraph II� Part B, as follows: <br />GENERAL LAND USE GOALS: <br />1. Maintain and improve the community character and identity; <br />encourage brniecfs which strengthen our children, families, and <br />nei�hborhoods. <br />2. Maintain the existing residential areas of the City as designated on <br />the land use plan. Identify and maintain approximately t11e same balance <br />(or same percentages) of the various land uses throughout the community, <br />allowing for some flexibility. <br />3. Eliminate blight and prevent deterioration of buildings and <br />infrastructure.
