Draft 14109/0& <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT <br />MOORE'S McCAItI.�O�'S PRESERVE <br />AGREEMENT, dated , 2006, is entered into between the CITY OF ROSEVILLE, a <br />Minnesota municipal corporation, of 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota 55113 ("CIT'Y"), <br />and J. W. Moore, Inc, ("the DEVELOPER"). <br />1. Reauest for Plat a��ro�aI. The DEVELOPER has asked the CITY to approve a plat of land to <br />be known as MOORE'S 1VIcCARRON'S PRESERVE (also referred to in this contract as the <br />"plat"). The land is legally described as follows: <br />Lots 14-21, Block 4, ROLLING GREEN <br />2. Conditions of Plat AAnroval. <br />A. Street widths & design considerations: The DEVELOPER shall construct one public <br />street according to City Specifications and as follows; Construct approximately 130 <br />feet of 28- foot wide face to face bituminous street with B618 concrete curb and <br />gutter from the Woodruff Avenue west. The sheet shall have an 80 foot diameter c�l- <br />de- sac at the westerly end to accommodate vehicles to completely turn around within <br />public right- of- way. Appropriate signage shall be installed to prohibit parking along <br />the south side of the street. <br />B. Water main construction: The DEVELOPER shall construct approximately 265 feet <br />of DIP watermain. Along with 4 private house services. All watermain shall be <br />constructed to meet city specifications. All curb boxes shall be Mueller M 10300 <br />through Y' and H-10836 for 1 1/2" and 2" or equal, with foot piece and equipped with <br />stationary rod equal to Mueller No. 84274, A. Y. McDonald 5671. All boxes shall <br />be adjustable up and down for 6.5' to 7.5' of cover. If any curb boxes are installed <br />that do not meet city specifications, the DEVELOPER shall be responsible to remove <br />and replace them with curb boxes that meet city specifications. <br />C. Sanitary sewer construction: The Developer shall construct approximately 265 feet <br />of DIP watermain. Along with 4 private house services. All sanitary sewer pipe and <br />services shall be constructed according to City specifications. <br />D. Restoration of Woodruff Avenue: curb cuts and street cuts shall be reconstructed to <br />match existing street typical section. Curbs proposed to be replaced shall have a <br />minimum of 3 feet of bituminous saw cut out to allow for proper compaction. Utility <br />trenches shall be restored by the DEVELOPER per City standard plate No. 3. Utility <br />Trench Restoration (typical pavement 5 years old to 5 year project). <br />Page 1 of 9 <br />
