Financial implications: The work performed on this site was primarily completed �iy a private <br />developer. Some of the costs for the improvements were shared based on agreements approved <br />by the City Council. The cost of all work included within the Applewood Pointe plat is the <br />responsibility of United Properties. The nf�site improvement costs were the responsibility of the <br />City. As described above, the City's share of the work completed �y the Wei� <br />Builders was $188.024.40. of which $67.047.64 has been t�aid. United Properties share of the <br />work completed by the City's contractor was $73,875.65. To complete the obligations of the <br />public improvernent contract, the �it�- of Roseville needs to make a payment of $47,074.1 1 to <br />United �r���+trli�s. This will be funded through tax increment funds. <br />Staff recommendation: All necessary items have been completed in accordance with project <br />plans and specifications. Since all items have been completed as outlined in the policy regarding <br />final project acceptance, staff recommends the City Council approve a resolution acceptingthe <br />utilities, streets, and parks as constructed in Applewood Pointe plat, and authorize payment of <br />outstanding cost share for these improvements. <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Approval of a resolution accepting the public improvements constructed in association with the <br />Applewood Pointe plat and starting a one-year warranty period. <br />Prepared by: Debra Bloom <br />
