October 27, 2006
Roseville City Council
City Hall
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Dear Council Members:
At a previous meeting the City Council denied a request from 1V Art
Mueller, 2201 Acom Road), to build four homes on his property. It
is our understanding that he is going to be making another appearance
before the Council wih a revised plan for h i s property.
Before the Council considers passing on this revised plan, please
take the time' to drive to the corner of Acorn Road and County Road B
and see the monstrosity that i.s going up on too small a lot on the
northwest corner. That should have never been allowed.
But i t i s a good example of how the character of an otherwise
beautiful neighborhood can change with such over-development.
Regarding this construction, is it true that' this lot is one foot
short of what is required by the rules and regulations governing home
construction in Rosevi3.le?I` so, why was approval given to allow it?
V can't this section of Roseville remain as it is? W7} can't
have more open space areas like ours in other sections of Roseville?
V does every b i t of land have to have something b u i lt on i t? Is
it wrong to have park-like areas in residential areas of the City?
Please give consideration to the other residents of this area and
their feelings about such a development.
Yours truly,
2265 Acom Road
Roseville, MN 55113
