November 7, 2006
Roseville City Council
City Hall
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Dear Council Members:
As we have expressed at recent meetings of the Planning Commission
and City Council, we are adamantly opposed to the project next c
us where Mr. Art Mueller, 2201 Acorn Road, wants to build four (4)
homes on his property.
This plan was previously denied and now it comes back with very
little revision.
In 1982, we purchased our home at 2195 Acorn Road because of the
privacy it gave us. Acorn Road has always been a very small and
quiet street where people feel safe and enjoy walking, biking and.
appreciate the habitat in the area. Almost any day you can see
deer crossing the road, wild turkeys, and many beautiful birds.
It is a narrow street because Mr. Mueller wanted it that way to
keep the traffic density controlled.
As we listened to the candidates for City Council, it became lc
and clear to us that the interest of the community and neighbor-
hoods in Roseville should come first and not harm the quality of
life in areas such as these.
We believe approval of this development will open the way for m
development on Acorn Road. Residents purchased homes in this area
because it was a quiet and beautiful area. We are very concerned
and ask why the City Council and planners are promoting this
additional development on such a small, narrow street?
We ask you to dny this application for subdividing Mr. Mue,],es
lot. It will certainly be in the best interest of all the residents
of this area.
Sincerely,
- e.+r...
Paul T. Romanawski
2195 Acorn Road '
Roseville, MN 55113

Janet
 .
C. Romanowski
