�� � <br />�- � City Council Meeting Procedures and Rules <br />Z_ Meetin� Schedule. On or about the first Council meeting of <br />the year, the City Council will adopt a meeting schedule of dates <br />and times for that year. Meeting dates and times may change <br />by maj ority vote of the Council. Generally, the City Council will <br />meet in formal business sessions on [the second and fourth <br />Mondays of each month?], and the Council will meet in an <br />informal work session format on [the third Monday of each <br />month? ] . <br />2. Councilmember Conduct. All Councilmembers shall <br />conduct themselves as to inspire public confidence and <br />trust in Roseville government. Accordingly, <br />Councilmembers will: <br />a. Prepare in advance of Council meetings and be familiar <br />with issues on the agenda; <br />b. Fully participate in City Council meetings and other <br />public forums while demonstrating respect, kindness, <br />consideration, and courtesy to residents, staff inembers, <br />and other Councilmembers; <br />c. Demonstrate effective problem-solving approaches; <br />d. Participate in scheduled Council activities to increase <br />team effectiveness; <br />e. Represent the City at ceremonial functions at the <br />request of the Mayor; <br />f. Be responsible for the highest standards of civility and <br />honesty in ensuring effective relationships with other <br />government or private officials or entities; <br />g. Respect the proper roles of elected officials and City <br />staff; <br />h. Provide contact information to the City Manager in case <br />an emergency or urgent situation arises while the <br />Councilmember is out of town. <br />The Community entrusts Counc�lmembers to show how <br />individuals with different values and points of view can <br />find common ground and create a compromise that <br />benefits the community as a whole.
