I fully agree and support the neighborhood's suggestions, and i feel this will serve two
purposes: To accommodate the neighborhood, and give MNDOT more time to study the
effect on our neighborhoods, as well as the changes in traffic patterns on Snelling and C,
Fairview and Oakcrest, etc.
Specifically, I request that the Snelling Avenue access point for this neighborhood at
Oakcrest be temporarily re-opened at least until Ramsey County completes its work on
County Road C. That may take a year or so. In the meantime, I would appreciate The
State of Minnesota's cooperation andreconsiderationof this closure, while the City and
Ramsey County figure out how they may better see that this neighborhood has adequate
ingress and egress routes.
Mr. Frank Pafko has the accident reports on this intersection, and so does Dan Stock,
owner of the Press Gym; to the best of my understanding, there have been no serious
accidents at this location for the last three years, and re-opening it for another year or so
after over 50 years of use may be possible.
I will txy to make an appointment to see you next week, after you have had a chance to
give this some consideration and discuss it with Mr. Pafko.
Sincerely,

Tom Kough
Roseville City Councilman
2931 Asbury St., Roseville, MN 55113
Home: 651-639-8268
Roseville Ofice: 651-792-7023
Attachment: Proposal of Ms. Lueck
