what, you should not discriminate them. My third example from The Universal
Declaration of Human Rights is this: "Everyone has the right to life, liberty and
security of person." To me this says that everyone has the right to be who they
are and to be proud of that. It also says that no one should be discriminatory
towards those who are different from themselves.
From the Jurisdiction of the Minnesota Human Rights Act explains that all
Minnesotan's of any sexual orientation have the rights to employment, housing,
public accommodations, public service, education, credit and business.
Meaning that all have the same rights in Minnesota, regardless of sexual
orientation.
The action that can be taken against all discrimination against these peoples
could be something as simple as being a friend, regardless of sexual orientation.
Just because somebody is gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight
doesn't change the person that they are. If you don't speak to somebody
because you believe that they are not straight, you have just missed an
opportunity to make what could be a terrific friend, and vice-versa. You cannot
judge somebody on something that is so minor and something that they can't
decide on. It is something that is given to them, and something that you can't
change. If you did not make friends with somebody because their favorite color
isn't orange, you are doing the same thing, you are judging someone on
something that should not matter.
In conclusion, all humans should have the same rights, whether or not they may
be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. What a small thing to get so worked
up about. It should not matterwhat somebody's sexual orientation is in deciding
whether or not somebody should be worthy of discrimination, because nobody
deserves that fate, no matter what.
+r 'av   - - _ -,;
