JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE EXTENSION OF TELEPHONY SERVICES <br />AND NETWORK SUPPORT TO THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into by and between the CITY OF ROSEVILLE, a <br />Minnesota municipal corporation ("Roseville"), and the CITY OF ST. ANTHONY a Minnesota <br />municipal corporation ("St. Anthony"), is effective upon the execution of this Agreement by the <br />named officers of both cities. <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, St. Anthony owns Cisco Internetworking Protocol (IP) telephony handsets, <br />voice gateways and other Cisco IP telephony peripheral equipment and; <br />WHEREAS, St. Anthony requires access to Cisco IP telephony control equipment which <br />inctude� Cali Manager, Unity Voice Mail, and other associated Cisco IP control devices and; <br />WHEREAS, St. Anthony requires technical support to operate and maintain this <br />equipment and; <br />WHEREAS, ROSEVILLE has these existing Cisco Internet Protocol (IP) control <br />equipment capable which can be extended to St. Anthony; and <br />WHEREAS, ROSEVILLE has an established Information Technology Department and <br />technical employees that are able to provide the services required by St. Anthony, and; <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes political suhdivisions of the State to <br />enter into Joint Powers Agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually stipulated and agreed to as follows: <br />e ia�� <br />
