Deb Bloom, City Engineer, explained there are two accesses on Pascal. There is not a <br />need for access on "B". She will recommendno "B" access. <br />Member poherty explained that the site plan has five lanes exiting to Pascal. <br />Member Bakeman explained that the Bridgeman Building at Lexington and Burke was <br />done similarly (side entrance not on Lexington). <br />Member White explained the bank has been on the site for years. The zoning to "B-2" is <br />one issue, while the drive lanelaccess is a separate issue. <br />Chair Traynor closed the bearing. <br />Chair Traynor noted a bank has been on the site for years. Same recommendation to <br />Chair'iraynor closed the hearing. <br />Motion: Motion by Member Ba�ermaz�, seconded by Member Boerigter, to recommend <br />approval of the Rezoning from B-1 Limited Business District to B-2, Retail Business <br />District, based on the information contained in Section 5 of the project report dated June <br />1,2005. <br />Ayes: 6 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />Motion: Motion by Member Bakernan, seconded by Member Pust, to direct staff to <br />review site plan, pedestrians' safety, traffic to handle the access from County Road $ <br />The applicant and County will be consultec�/engaged by staff to consider no access or <br />limited access on County Road B. <br />Ayes: 6 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />Discussion on motion: <br />Deb Bloom explained the motion may be too strong. There is no technical <br />recommendation to eliminate access. Staff and County should work on access issues. <br />Member Bakeman asked that further review be handled by staff and County. She said no <br />impact has been studied regarding Pascal entrylexit. <br />
