- Current Roseville population is aging. What is our future? How do we bring in new
families?
Residential homes are a thing of the past; mzifiple-fami]y dwellings are the future.
- Rental property is subject to some regulation, buyers need to be informed.
- Coventry Aparhnents - Would like to see greater communications among apartment
residents and homeowners.
Group 4
- Fairview, and County Roads C and D are experiencing a lot of traffic.
- New development is generated more traffic.
- Homes near No'tlwesteril College are being converted to rental, which means more
cares, people, and traffic. What are the City codes for boat storage?
Group 5
- The commuter trafficJosephine Rd is a problem. People drive too fast for road
conditions, sight distances, and Iaz1d use (residential).
- Hazlzze Shopping Cellter--az eyesore. What is its future?
- Barking dogs late at night are a problem. Wo do you call?
- Cottontail Park - a neighborhood asset and it needs to be maintained, it should not be
developed.
- Green space on Lexington, County Road C-2 to Josephine - City should purchase lots or
get land owner to donate to tie city to convert to public space.
- High concentration of density is a strain on Haaxlxze.
- No more retail needed.
- Not a lot of regulation of rental houses - enforcement of existing code needed.
(Problems around t11e number of cars and the number of people living in one residence.)
— What can be done about unlicensed junk cars in driveways?
- Billboard - Lexington and Josephine - get rid of it.
- Keep and maintain Central Park.
- Semi-trucks need sigllage to get from airview to Snelling.
Group 6
- Hanli.ze Shopping Center is not desirable; it has negative impact on residential property
values. (Itis slated for redevelopment by Presbyterian Homes.)
° Met Council Homes - now 15 home in t11 City. They are not properly maintained.
m People not aware of City codes—aren't given the information. Codes should be
published in tze IZosevilre Wrcp.
- Soine older people may not be able to maintain.
- Commuter traffic on Josephine Rd is dangerous - high speed, poor visiility_
- Need better restaurants that are not sports bars.
- Poor public image in the region - m a recent Sfax'x•xb1e article on shopping malls,
Roseville was given a negative review.
Group 7
- Poor lighting in parks - After hou.r5 "activity" in parks, e.g. Autumn Grove is occurring.
Cars are parked there late at night.
