What is coming next? <br />t Retired people moving to Roseville but need to also recruztlwelco�e families. <br />t Housing stock for a wide variety at affordable price. <br />■ Need housing stock for growing /upgrade but stay in district. <br />• If re-development is being done in fan�ily/kid-friendly way <br />■ Young adults being priced out of market — would be future families. <br />= Attractive place for kids-housing prices and schools are big issues. <br />• Lifelong residents don't want to leave. <br />. Need affordable price. <br />. Nice problem to have — no one wants to leave; but housing stock is "tired" and <br />not attractive to new buyers h o w e v e r we are good "strategic" position. <br />� School district was "reason" to move to Roseville — need to maintain schools to <br />keep value in our property — Community Center has value. Roseville needs one. <br />. Affordable housing is needed. Seniors are aging in place, not enough housing for <br />delnand/interest. <br />. Is a gap —need "next step" housing —"move up." <br />. Need 400-600, 000 4-bedroom housing —"affordable" has 32 meanings y o un g, <br />move up, services (losing the "out of state" buyers due to cost) <br />■ Senior lio�nes will be opening in 10-15 years; land should be used to <br />What are School Districts doing to maintain quality programs? <br />Mounds View <br />■ community education program for adults have been cha��gcd to meet needs of <br />the new demographic <br />• more early childhood education programs <br />• in middle school: n�ore emphasis on advanced placement and fine arts <br />■ all demographic trends are decrease enrollment with largest graduating class in <br />2007. <br />Co»�17ze��ts <br />• Twin lakes is missed opportunity — need single story names; not town homes for <br />"em�fiy-nest" to be encouraged to move (upper ends). Where are the <br />development opportunities? <br />
