Mr. <br />Wells encouraged concrete sidewalks, noting the amount of <br />pedestrian traffic. Mr. Wells expressed concern related to <br />caution during construction of the water main and gas mains in <br />the area. Mr. Wells concluded his comments by encouraging any <br />action to reduce speed coming around Dale Street to ensure <br />pedestrian safety. <br />John Torgerson, 337 S�wasso Boulevard <br />(Representing Association of eight home owners) <br />Mr. Torgerson noted that five of the eight property owners in the <br />association were retirees. Mr. Torgerson spoke to the past <br />stormwater problems in the area, and the additional estimated <br />$26,000 those eight property owners were prepared to pay to <br />rectify that problem, in addition to the proposed assessment for <br />street improvements. Mr. Torgerson complimented staff on their <br />communication efforts and cooperation with the neighborhood. <br />Mr. Torgerson opined that property owners were interested in <br />discouraging trespassing for fishing on the trestle, due to the <br />litter and other non-resident issues involved. <br />Tom Martin, 361 S�wasso Boulevard <br />Mr. Martin spoke of substantial water drainage problems being <br />experienced on his property, and adjoining properties, and spoke <br />in support of the project to correct those drainage issues. Mr. <br />Martin also spoke in support of parking illegally and opined that <br />he "wanted the fishermen gone." <br />Paul Severson, 617 S Qwasso Boulevard <br />Mr. Severson spoke in support of preserving aesthetics as they <br />are today, and spoke against moving the roadway any closer that <br />it already was. <br />Bruce Mosimann, 393 S Qwassa Boulevard <br />Mr. Mosimann noted that his house was lower than the streets, <br />and spoke to the substantial drainage issues he's experienced <br />over the last few months. Mr. Mosimann spoke in support of <br />curb & gutter or any way to improve drainage; but sympathized <br />with drivers trying to define private and public property in the <br />
