City Council Regular Meeting — 08/08/OS <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 31 <br />Mr. Miller reviewed short and long-term options to address <br />space needs and recommendations for addressing those needs. <br />Discussion included expansion into adjacent space, lease terms <br />and costs; future building design for possible long-term <br />solutions on the City campus; shared parking potential with the <br />Skating Center and timing of use for the lot; impacts to the City <br />Campus; and projections of future workload and type of <br />business with additional internet capabilities, increased auto <br />dealer licensing and passports. <br />Kough moved, Schroeder seconded, authorizing staff to <br />negotiate a new Lease Agreement between the City of Roseville <br />License Center and the Lexington Shopping Center, for <br />purposes of expanding the License Center lease space; for a <br />term of three to three and one-half years; to be reviewed by the <br />City Attorney; and resubmitted to the City Council for formal <br />approval on August 22,2005. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Schroeder; Kough and Maschka. <br />Nays: None. <br />11.1 Consider Modifying Council Chamber Cameras <br />Councilmember Schroeder provided background regarding the <br />newly-installed camera system in the Council Chambers and <br />current broadcast capabilities and standards. Councilmember <br />Schroeder encouraged the City Council to consider the level of <br />professionalism and quality of broadcast of various meetings by <br />approving modification of the camera system and purchase and <br />installation of additional cameras to enhance broadcast <br />capabilities, with monies from the Community Program <br />reserves. <br />Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, approval for and directing <br />staff to modify the cameras in the City Council Chambers to <br />include the purchase and installation of three new cameras as <br />well as the modification of the existing cameras as shown on the <br />sketch attached to the memorandum from Councilmember <br />Schroeder dated August 5,2005. <br />Council Chambers <br />Cameras <br />
