Discussion included expansion into adjacent space, lease terms and costs; future building design for possible long-term solutions on the City campus; shared parking potential with the Skating Center and timing of use for the lot; impacts to the City Campus; and projections of future workload and type of business with additional internet capabilities, increased auto dealer licensing and passports. Kough moved, Schroeder seconded, authorizing staff to negotiate a new Lease Agreement between the City of Roseville License Center and the Lexington Shopping Center, for purposes of expanding the License Center lease space; for a term of three to three and one-half years; to be reviewed by the City Attorney; and resubmitted to the City Council for formal approval on August 22,2005. Nays: None. 11.1 Consider Modifying Council Chamber Cameras Councilmember Schroeder provided background regarding the newly-installed camera system in the Council Chambers and current broadcast capabilities and standards. Councilmember Schroeder encouraged the City Council to consider the level of professionalism and quality of broadcast of various meetings by approving modification of the camera system and purchase and installation of additional cameras to enhance broadcast capabilities, with monies from the Community Program reserves. Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, approval for and directing staff to modify the cameras in the City Council Chambers to include the purchase and installation of three new cameras as well as the modification of the existing cameras as shown on the sketch attached to the memorandum from Councilmember Schroeder dated August 5,2005.
