B�okke �eviewed the schedule to-date; five majo� <br />components ofthe �ef�ige�ationsystem cmd vulne�able a�eas (I.e., <br />chille� ba�el; evapo�ation towe�; b�ine pump cmd piping system; <br />outside su�face a�ea; compressor/ammonia piping system. <br />M�. B�okke �eviewed the initial p�oposals, additions co�d <br />deletions, cmd additional p�oblems encounte�ed with the b�ine <br />piping cmd insulation system; noting that work was continuing to <br />get done p�ope�ly cmd expediently; with expenses still within the <br />C'ruidant cont�ibution, cmd totaling app�oximately $400,000 �o- <br />date. Mr. B�okke advised that the additional cost option to <br />�eplace co�oding pipes f�om the o�iginal p�oposal of $75,000 <br />would be an inc�ease totaling $� 17,000. <br />M�. Bro1�1c� �eviewed in mo�e detail issues with the chille� ba�el <br />cmd the �e-tubing p�ocess, the evapo�ation towe�, cmd b�ine pump <br />cmd piping system. Mr. BrokTce noted that an unexpected <br />additional expense will be �eplacing the piping, which was <br />showing extensive co�osion on some a�eas. Mr. Brol�ke fu�the� <br />noted, howeve�, that the six zone, outside floo� a�ea h�' been <br />flushed, cmd appea�ed stable, with fu�the� testing to ensu�e all <br />ammonia h�' been flushed p�io� to �eplenishing b�ine. <br />Mr. B�okke �eviewed the payment schedule, with the fi�st <br />cont�acto� invoice anticipated soon (fo� app�oximately 50%), to <br />be ve�ified by staffand �ep�esentatives of Steven's Enginee�ing, <br />p�ovided to F�iends o f the Oval Foundation (FOF), with payment <br />to the City by FOF fo� p�ocessing to the contractor(s). <br />M�.
