Staff recommended renaming of the "John Rose
Minnesota OVAL" to the "Guidant John Rose Minnesota
OVAL," in an effort to recognize the significant contributions of
the Guidant Foundation.
Discussion included ordering of the names in the proposed
renaming; matching grant contribution campaign to-date; initial
user group contributions and matching funds; and potential grand
re-opening scheduled for November 19,2005.
Mr. Brokke and Mayor Klausing noted that contributions and
matching donations were still being accepted and should be
mailed to the:
Friends of the OVAL Foundation (FOF)
(Skating Center Address)
Renaming the John
Rose Minnesota
OVAL
