(c) the Employer may allow the Participant to maintain coverage <br />without contributions required for the benefits he or she has selected under the <br />Plan for the duration of the leave and the Participant shall pay all contributions <br />required for the benefits he or she has selected under the Plan for the duration of <br />the leave upon return from the leave, (i) on an after-tax basis or, (ii) if the <br />Participant has Compensation from which such payment may be deducted, on a <br />pre-tax basis but only through the end of the Plan Year. <br />If the Participant does not continue coverage under the Medical Reimbursement Plan <br />during the Family or Medical Leave, the employee may elect to participate in the Medical <br />Reimbursement Plan at the same level of coverage as before the leave began with a <br />corresponding increased contribution amount for the remainder of the Plan Year, or may elect to <br />participate at the same level of contribution as before the beginning of the leave and have a <br />corresponding reduced level of coverage. Expenses incurred while on leave will not be eligible <br />for reimbursement under the Medical Reimbursement Plan. <br />Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Employer continues to provide or maintain <br />coverage under any benefit selected by a Participant during a Family or Medical Leave in <br />circumstances where the Participant has elected to continue such coverage and has not made the <br />required contributions during their Family or Medical Leave, the Employer shall have the right to <br />recover the cost of such coverage from the Participant's Compensation upon return from Family <br />or Medical Leave, or, if the participant does not return, at the end of the Family or Medical Leave <br />i$ City of Roseville MPD <br />
