JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA'S PART-TIME <br />UTILIZATION OF A CITY OF ROSEVILLE EMPLOYEE <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into by and between the CITY OF ROSEVILLE, a <br />Minnesota municipal corporation, and the CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, a Minnesota <br />municipal corporation, supersedes the previous agreement for technical support services, and is <br />effective upon the execution of this Agreement by the named officers of both cities. <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, LITTLE CANADA is in need of technical support services and is without <br />staff to provide the needed services; and <br />WHEREAS, Roseville has management information system and other technical <br />employees that are able to provide the services required by LITTLE CANADA; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the State to <br />enter into Joint Powers Agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually stipulated and agreed to as follows: <br />1. SERVICES. <br />A. The City of Roseville shall provide qualified management information systems <br />employees ('Bmployees") to perform computer and related technical services required by the <br />City of LITTLE CANADA. These services include the following: <br />❑ Ongoing network maintenance, security, and upgrades. <br />❑ System integration/installation of new software. <br />0 Hardware maintenance and configuration. <br />� Desktop technical support for issues not resolvable in-house. <br />� Monitoring and evaluation of communications infrastructure. <br />s is�z 1 <br />
