9. A proposed grading and drainage plan has been submitted and discussed with the Public
Works Department, which plan requires a slight modification before it will meet the
requirements of the Comprehensive Stonn Water Management Plan and Section
1012.069 of the Roseville City Code. Specifically, all roof and hard surface drainage will
be designed to drain toward either Oakcrest Avenue or Hamline Avenue. No additional
storm water management improvements (such as ponding) are necessary.
. A revised landscape plan has been submitted that indicates coniferous tree screening
along Hamline Avenue, a deciduous hedge screening the south end of the private
drive/parking area, and proposed installation of a deciduous shrub screen within the frant
yard of the property at 1323 Oakcrest Avenue. This plan is also a work in progress and
will require greater detail if the "Generail Concept' is supported by the City Council.
Specifically, boulevard trees (ash/honeylocust) spaced 40 feet on center must be proposed
(not within southern easements) along Hamline Avenue; additional landscaping should be
proposed along the eastern property edge (especially adjacent to the neighboring home);
screening at the southwest corner of the proposed developmentmust be expanded; and
screening of the drive lane/parking (south end) will require being located outside of the
easement, or be of a limited height or fencing approved by the easement holder.
9_i A revised set of plans has been submitted along with the initial plan set for review and
consideration of the City Council.
1.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
I+.
